2021 CSPS National Undergraduate Student Research Program Awards
The Canadian Society for Pharmaceutical Sciences (CSPS) has made the decision that the 2021 CSPS Symposium will be a virtual event.
The CSPS National Undergraduate Student Research Program Awards will be presented in 2021 but there will be some changes as a result of the virtual format.
CRITERIA:
- Each Canadian Pharmacy School will receive one award which consists of a complimentary registration for the winning undergraduate pharmacy student to attend the 2021 CSPS Symposium (virtual) being held May 31-June 3, 2021.
- The student must complete a “hypothesis testing” research project. Projects in all disciplines of Pharmacy (Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, Pharmacy Practice and Clinical Pharmacy) are eligible. All currently registered “full-time” undergraduate pharmacy students in good standing are eligible for this program. *Note: Students who have previously held this award are not eligible
- Each participating Pharmacy School will choose their own student and sponsoring supervisor and notify the CSPS Office by March 31, 2021. The student’s abstract should be submitted as a Word file via email to csps@intertaskconferences.com by April 16, 2021. Each abstract should contain an acknowledgement that they are a recipient of the student undergraduate award. Each school will be responsible for determining the process by which they choose their student/supervisor representatives to the program. Each school will also be responsible for advertising this program to their students and faculty.
- Each student will be provided with a priority code to be used to register with for the 2021 CSPS Symposium once registration opens. Further details will be provided at a later date.
