Condolences to the Sherman Family

The Canadian Society for Pharmaceutical Sciences (CSPS) Board and membership were shocked to learn of the recent deaths of Barry Sherman and his wife Honey in their Toronto home.  Barry Sherman, founder of the generic pharmaceutical company, Apotex was a great supporter of academic pharmacy in Canada including pharmacy organizations such as the CSPS.  His leadership in the pharmaceutical industry and his contributions to society in general will surely be missed.  We offer our sincere condolences to his family and close friends.

Frank Abbott, President of CSPS
