Poster Awards

Antoine A. Noujaim Award of Excellence, Sponsored by the University of Alberta Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences

Certificate and a monetary award of $1,000.00 for best poster presentation by a graduate student.  Poster evaluated on scientific merit, discovery, innovation and contribution.

Cedarlane Award of Excellence

Plaque and a monetary award of $500.00 for best poster presentation by a trainee who is a member of CSPS.  Poster evaluated on scientific merit, discovery, innovation, and contribution.  Candidates may be a graduate student or postdoctoral fellow in industry, government, academia, or research institutes.

Canadian Society for Pharmaceutical Sciences is pleased to offer five trainee awards for best poster presentations by CSPS members:

2 awards at $600.00
2 awards at $300.00
1 award at $200 (undergraduate)

Candidates must be a member of CSPS, and may be a graduate student or postdoctoral fellow in industry, government, academia, or research institutes, as well as medical residents. In addition, there is one award at $200.00 for the best undergraduate poster award; GSK Undergraduate Student Research Award winners are eligible. Posters are evaluated on presentation, scientific merit, discovery, innovation, and contribution.

PLEASE NOTE:  These awards will be presented on FRIDAY AFTERNOON at the completion of the sessions (12:00 noon).  TRAINEES MUST BE PRESENT TO RECEIVE THE AWARD, OTHERWISE IT WILL BE OFFERED TO THE RUNNER-UP FOR THE AWARD.

Anyone wishing to participate in the poster awards competitions must upload their posters (The site for uploading posters will be emailed to individuals following submission and acceptance of their abstract).
